| ARTIST STATEMENT |
Art is about self-expression and an exploration of the unknown. Just as life offers new choices at every turn, the artistic process also offers the potential for many possible outcomes. I begin a piece with a very basic concept and let it evolve as new ideas emerge. "Mistakes" can be opportunities for a new direction with a current work, or seeds of ideas for additional pieces such as collages. It's all about enjoying the process, being in the moment and having fun. |
