Pochoir Minprints Workshop - All Levels (4 Hours : August 24, 2025)

$175.00

Sunday, August 24, 2025 : 1 to 5 PM

Instructor: Samantha Shelton

Pochoir is French for stencil and can be used in many artforms to include printmaking.  Monoprinting is a printmaking technique using a repeatable matrix to create a recurring design on multiple unique prints, in contrast to a printed edition where the prints are all the same.  The key advantage of a stencil is that it can be reused repeatedly to produce the same letters or design within the monoprints.  In this workshop students will combine pochoir and monoprintmaking techniques to create mini printss which will be overprinted using different transparent ink layers.  When the transparent layers combine they create vibrant color combinations.

Students will cut stencils and print them using transparent etching inks on 10 blank greeting cards on DGA etching presses.

10 blank cards and ink are included

Price includes $20 lab fee
